The Anifilm Festival in Trebon (Czech Republic – May 1-6th) points the attention of professional and non-professional audiences towards the animation industry. Alongside the festival, the VAF (Visegrad Animation forum) tries to strengthen the role of Central and Eastern Europe in the animation market.
This year Anifilm adds a new initiative to the busy festival schedule: the Animarket (4th May), a job market for studios and schools focusing on animation, VFX and game development etc. Its aim is to provide long-term support to students in finding career opportunities. By taking part in Animarket, students become part of a growing job market within Central and Eastern Europe by meeting professionals from creative and cultural industries.
