With a newly elected President and Board in November 2020, new objectives for CIFEJ have been set. Secretary General Mohsen Chiniforoushan: “I am hopeful that the current board consisting of highly qualified and experienced members with a dynamic, motivated leader will soon take CIFEJ to its next level.”
Italian ECFA member Cinemovel Foundation launched a digital edition of their ‘Screens in the Classroom’ Festival, a school project bringing students closer to the audio-visual language and raising a strong social topic: the fight against the mafia in Southern Italy.

Swiss film education organisations will from now on be able to share experiences with European colleagues and join them in common actions, thanks to the approval of a new budget by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture, supporting participation in film education projects funded by Creative Europe.

With Nordic Star, the BUFF Film Festival (Malmö, Sweden) awards three young actors in recognition of outstanding acting achievements in films screened at the festival.
Even with the 31st edition of the Ciné Junior Festival being postponed, juries were able to decide about their favourite films. Like the documentary ACASA, MY HOME, collecting two awards.
