CEE Animation Experience addresses animation industry professionals, who will gain new insights as shared by experts through masterclasses, case studies and strategies. “All activities on our CEE Animation platform, including CEE Animation Experience, lead to increasing filmmakers´ skills and improving the quality of animated projects in the CEE region” explains coordinator Michal Podhradský.
A recent contribution to the online archive is a most interesting panel discussion on Gender Equality in Animation, “recognising, reflecting on, and challenging the discriminatory structures that perpetuate and amplify discrimination and inequality in cultural and creative sectors”. On the panel, gathered during the Animateka Int’l Animated Film Festival 2021, were Tina Smrekar (SIovenia), Maja Gehrig (Switzerland), Luce Grosjean (France) and Matea Milić (Croatia).

CEE Animation brings together regional activities for promotion and development of animation and its talents in more than 20 countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
